John McFall MP to speak at AMI Annual Dinner

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries has revealed that the chairman of the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee, The Rt Hon. John McFall MP, is to speak at its Annual Dinner.

The dinner will be held at Drapers’ Hall in the City of London on 10 June 2009 and will mark AMI’s 6th anniversary as the mortgage intermediary trade body.

Robert Sinclair, director at AMI, says: “We are delighted to welcome as our guest speaker this year, The Rt Hon. John McFall MP, Chairman of the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee. With such a challenging year ahead for the mortgage industry, it will be interesting to hear his thoughts on the future of the market.

“AMI’s Independent Chairman, the Rt Hon. John Gummer MP will reply on behalf of the trade body. We are delighted that members will hear from two leading, senior Parliamentarians. Given the wider economic and political events, there could be no better time for this dinner.”
