Sesame appoints mortgage product manager

Sesame, the leading provider of support services to 8,150 financial advisers, has appointed Paul Rignall as its new mortgage product manager.

Rignall joins Sesame later this year and will report to Andrew Oliver, head of product management.

He joins from St. James’s Place, where he was mortgage marketing manager and responsible for the management and development of their mortgage and
general insurance propositions.

Prior to this Rignall held several roles at Zurich Financial Services.

Andrew Oliver, head of product management at Sesame, says: “We are delighted that Paul will be joining us in this key role. He brings a wealth of experience in the mortgage market and a real insight into the demands facing mortgage advisers in today’s challenging industry.

“Sesame has built an excellent top three position in mortgage distribution with circa 14bn in mortgage business. Paul will be instrumental in driving our
proposition forward to the next level and developing our range of mortgage services for both network and directly regulated advisers.”

Paul Rignall said: “I am very excited at the prospect of joining one of the biggest players in the UK mortgage market.

“I am looking forward to working with the team and taking the mortgage proposition forward for the benefit of all of Sesame’s advisers.”
