MPLC sponsors Jerez Golf Challenge

Mortgages PLC is to sponsor the golf event on the final day of the Mortgage Summit in Jerez on Friday June 23.

The event will be an extension of the lender’s 2006 PGA Challenge, and will offer delegates the opportunity to qualify for the UK final at Brocket Hall on July 3, which in turn gives them the chance to win a trip to Spain in October.

There are over 70 attendees signed up to the Jerez golf event, making it the biggest field of the 5 qualifying events being hosted by Mortgages PLC.

Qualifiers have already taken place at Blackwell, Prestbury and Lanark and 12 intermediaries have already qualified for the UK final. The winners at the UK final qualify for the Grand Final, which is held in Spain over three days.

Julian Wells, head of marketing at Mortgages PLC, says he’s delighted with the turnout at Jerez.

He says: “It’s great that so many people are keen to play and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the final event and lunch of the Mortgage Summit.

“Jerez certainly looks like being an excellent event once again and we’re looking forward to spending time with the industry’s key players out there.”

Karen Hartley, event director of Centaur Summits adds: “The Summit is only a couple of weeks away now and everything is coming together really well.

“We’re delighted Mortgages PLC is sponsoring the golf and lunch on the final day, along with lunch and dinner on the Wednesday.

“With their branded truck also on site, they will certainly have a significant presence at the event.”
