GE appoints two business development managers

GE Money Home Lending has appointed two business development managers, Emma Maxwell and Karen Rodrigues, to support its ambitious growth and development plans.

Maxwell joins GEMHL from Skipton where she worked as a business development manager for the London area.

Previously, she worked for Royal Bank of Scotland and Halifax. In her new role, she will be responsible for progressing and building relationships with packagers and brokers in the central part of Southern England.

She says: Im very excited to be joining the company. My main focus is going to be to raise the awareness of the strength of GE Money Home Lendings first charge mortgage portfolio.

Rodrigues joins GEMHL from Kensington Mortgages, where she worked as a business development manager for over five years. Prior to Kensington, she worked as a mortgage consultant for Connells and also enjoyed a six year stint at Halifax.

She will be responsible for growing the GEMHL business with packagers and brokers within the Kent, West Sussex, Romford and Ilford regions.

She says: Its great to be joining a business with such size and scope, backed up by the well recognised First National and igroup brands I think this role has massive potential.

Duncan Berry, first mortgage sales director of GE Money Home Lending, says: We are delighted to welcome both Emma and Karen to the team. They both bring a huge amount of experience into their roles having previously worked with other large lenders. We are confident that they will prove to be great assets in helping us drive our business development.
