CETA adds equity release to portal

CETA has added equity release to the range of insurance products and financial services available through the CETA Premium Portal following the signing of a strategic partnership with the Equity Release Advisory Service.

The move allows brokers and advisers to earn commission by referring business to ERAS through their membership of CETAs advanced online Portal.

ERAS is an independent equity release advisory centre covering services such as lifetime loans, home reversionary schemes and interest-only mortgages.

David Quick, managing director of CETA, says: As always, CETA strives to provide top quality products and services to our members. We are delighted to provide the internet portal link with ERAS to further strengthen our already impressive proposition.

Stuart Wilson, managing director of ERAS, says: CETAs track record speaks for itself it is a leader in the general insurance market and we are really pleased to work with their members to deliver this easy to use service.

The web-based referral service presents intermediaries with the opportunity to earn an average income of 350 from just a few minutes work.

CETA members do not need to hold Financial Services Authority permissions for equity release as all advice is provided by ERAS directly to the client.

The CETA Premium Portal is available free of charge and gives members access to an range of insurance products and financial services online with electronic transactions and administration.

Personal line insurance available through the Portal includes household, ASU, travel, pet, caravan and quotations for non-standard risks.

It also enables quotations for commercial risks such as shop, office and liability insurances plus a host of other financial services including loans and asset/vehicle financing.

There is no minimum level of business and excellent commission rates are paid on initial or renewal business.
