Spin doctor should help FSA come up with better excuses

I am writing in response to the story that the FSA has appointed Tom Kelly, a former spin doctor for Tony Blair, as its new communications director (Mortgage Strategy Online).

Great – yet another bureaucrat paid for by the exorbitant fees the regulator charges hard-working brokers.

Oh well, at least next time it should be able to come out with better excuses for being an inept waste of time. Roll on Santa Claus being brought in by the FSA to improve its image.

It should be disbanded, admit its faults and step aside to let a properly-run organisation do what it has consistently failed to do.
