New appointment at Best Advice Mortgage Centre

Best Advice Mortgage Centre has appointed a new business development manager to help market the Best Advice Mortgage Network, a new service for intermediaries which is due to be launched at the end of this year.

Charles Jarrett joins Best Advice from Trigold, the mortgage sourcing company, where he was head of direct sales. Previously, he worked for The Mortgage Business as business development manager.

Jarret says: “My role will be to help market the Best Advice Mortgage Network to intermediaries. From January 1 2003, brokers will only be able to give advice on mortgages if they have passed a recognised exam. There are changes ahead in the industry and many brokers will need the help of a network to stay ahead.”

Richard Hall, managing director of Best Advice Mortgage Centre, says: “Charles&#39s appointment is the first we have made to our new business development team with more announcements due in the next few weeks. The team will be responsible for making sure that brokers know of the support we can offer them through our mortgage network. Charles is an integral part of the team and has a great reputation in the industry.”

The new network will offer intermediaries free compliance support, sourcing of software, free personal indemnity insurance and free audit visits. The main aim of the network is to support the smaller broker with their compliance needs while still maintaining procuration fees.
