Moneysupermarket.com unveils recruitment drive

Moneysupermarket.com has revealed plans to double its mortgage consultancy team.

The price comparison site, which is rumoured to be on the verge of floatation, currently has 25 vacancies available for CeMap qualified advisers.

The vacancies are for both business-to-business roles within Mortgage 2000 and for business-to-consumer roles as part of the customer assistance team at the forefront of moneysupermarket.com.

The major recruitment drive will be implemented by hosting an open day held in Chester, where moneysupermarket.com is based, on Tuesday June 26, from 2pm until 8pm.

During the day, interested applicants can learn more about the company’s ambitious business plans, and what the role entails, including the opportunity to talk on a one-to-one basis with key managers and team leaders as well as the all important chance to submit a formal application.

Louise Cuming, head of mortgages at moneysupermarket.com, says: “This move comes as a direct result of consumer demand from people visiting our site and requesting mortgage advice.

“This is an exciting initiative which will not only allow us to continue to meet demand but also help to maintain and improve service standards.”

Ian Turner, human resources manager at moneysupermarket.com, adds: “We are looking for candidates who have drive and ambition who will thrive in a dynamic environment.

“There is huge scope for career progression at moneysupermarket.com which is growing at a rapid pace. Ultimately, people who shine will be rewarded so there really is huge potential.”
