GHL appoints head of IT

GHL Group has appointed Mike Taylor as head of IT to help steer the network’s focus on e-commerce.

Taylor has worked in IT at British Airways and Pearl Assurance and has been appointed to help steer the network’s focus on continuous IT and e-commerce development as part of their overall business strategy. It also also includes growing its distribution.

Hesays: “I am particularly excited about joining GHL Group at a time when they are channelling a great deal of resources into the development of their IT and e-commerce functions.

“My new role will enable me to utilise my experience in expanding the facilities we can offer our distribution and at the same time continually assess where improvements and new additions can be made to our systems.

“Having met the IT team, I can safely say they are a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic group and I look forward to working with them as we look to enhance and develop our offering.”

Howard Mason, IT director at GHL Group, says: “We are delighted that Taylor has decided to join us.

“His unique skills, abilities and experience will play a major role in the group’s aggressive development programme and we are certain he will excel in meeting the challenges that lie ahead.”
