Service winners at inaugural awards

Last month saw Pink Home Loans&#39 inaugural Service Awards, held in association with Mortgage Strategy.

Lenders and brokers were recognised for their efforts in front of 230 guests at Birmingham&#39s Botanical Gardens.

Lender winners included Intelligent Finance – flexible lender of the year; Northern Rock – equity release lender of the year; GMAC – sub-prime lender of the year; Mortgage Express – buy-to-let lender of the year; Halifax – prime lender of the year; Alliance & Leicester – electronic lender of the year; and BM Solutions – self-cert lender and overall lender of the year.

In the broker category, Gascoigne Halman won the mortgage broker of the year; Savills Private Finance – large mortgage broker of the year; Mark Thompson of Red Box Home Loans won best individual mortgage broker (North); David Faulkner of E-First Finance – best individual and overall broker (South); Jay Mehta and Bob Singh of Smart Mortgage Group – best newcomer; and Landlord Mortgages – innovative broker of the year.
