Pink shuffles its management pack

Pink Home Loans has promoted Lisa Hurley from associate director to director of finance.

Her role has been expanded to in-clude responsibility for commercial relationships with many of Pink’s suppliers and for overseeing the finances of BDS Mortgage Group, the network in which it has a majority stake. Hurley joined Pink as financial controller in 2004.

Meanwhile, Brian Devine, formerly IT systems manager, has been made head of IT and assumes responsibility for Pink’s operational and development systems plus its technology platforms.

Claire Parkes takes up the position of HR manager, reporting to Pink network services director Kay Leslie.

Barry Meeks, chief executive of the Pink Group, says: “This year is going to be a challenging one for the industry but I’m confident we have a solid, dependable and experienced team to help us go from strength to strength.”


Openwork scores £20bn of business

Openwork has revealed it originated more than £20bn in business during 2007, chalking up a 15% increase on 2006. The network’s January lending levels were up more than 30% on December and 10% on January 2007.

Commercial appointment

Steve Sales, formerly regional sales manager at Commercial First, has joined broker Verizon Capital as a commercial finance consultant.
