Bridgewater equity release event hit with brokers

Bridgewater says delegates to its breakfast forum on equity release was a hit with brokers.

The event was held in Newcastle and gave brokers the chance to chat with staff at Bridgewater about equity release and how best to market it to their clients.

The next forum has limited space and will take place in Swindon on March 18 at the Hilton Swindon Hotel.

The session, which includes breakfast for all attendees, begins at 8am and runs until 10am.

Andrew Dixon, marketing and sales manager at Bridgewater, says: “There are a number of misconceptions about the product and we sought to dispel these and educate advisers on when the plans are an appropriate solution to those looking to release equity.

“We are looking forward to next week’s forum in Swindon and hope advisers in that area will attend to discuss the market and wider industry issues.”
