Ingard to take over M2i

Mortgage 2000 is transferring the ownership and running of its M2i compliance service to Ingard Intermediary Services.

The transfer takes effect today and all M2i members have been notified.

Following a strategic review, Mortgage 2000 has refocused its business on its core services which are mortgage sourcing, DIY Packaging and its mortgage club.

Stuart Glendinning, managing director of moneysupermarket.com, says: “I’m delighted that Ingard have agreed to take over M2i. We believe we’ve chosen the best partner to look after our member’s interests and we very much hope they will continue to use Mortgage 2000 services going forward.”

David Ewing of Ingard, says: “I am delighted Mortgage 2000 has chosen Ingard to move the M2i Network forward. Over the years we have forged strong relations with the team at Mortgage 2000 and a number of the M2i members.

“Combining our knowledge and experience in compliance and that of running a successful mortgage business we are ideally placed to understand brokers’ needs. We will not only be offering compliance support, but also general business support and exploring other avenues for the broker, to help generate additional revenue in these difficult times.”
