Dev Malle joins myhomemove

Dev Malle last week announced he was joining Doug Crawford, his old boss at Personal Touch Financial Services, at conveyancing services provider myhomemove.

Mortgage Strategy revealed at the end of July that Malle was quiting his role as sales director at PTFS, but he was tight-lipped about his next step.

Malle was the latest in a series of high-profile departures from the network, with its former chief executive Crawford leaving in February this year, along with its director of IFA services John Ruddick and head of sales development Andy Walton.

Malle joined PTFS in October 2006 from Pink Home Loans where he was sales director.

He has joined myhomemove as group director of sales. Myhomemove was established in 2000 and provides conveyancing and panel management services.

The firm’s latest accounts show it achieved profits before tax of £994,000 in 2011, compared to a loss of £980,000 in 2010.

Crawford says that securing an individual of Malle’s calibre has been a positive move.

He says: “Dev had a number of options available to him and his decision to join us is an endorsement of our market position, ambition and strategy.”
