TMW appoints BDM for M5/M6 corridor

The Mortgage Works has appointed Iain Binsley as business development manager responsible for intermediary business around the M5/M6 corridor.

Binsley has spent the last 10 years as a branch manager and mortgage manager for the Portman and the Staffordshire, before it merged with Portman in 2003.

For the last three years he has been one of Portman’s top performing mortgage managers in the Midlands.

His responsibilities as BDM will cover the promotion and sale of mortgage products to intermediaries for TMW, with a focus on buy-to-let, self-cert and adverse credit, and on the prime market for Portman.

Paul Howard, director of intermediary sales at TMW, says: “Iain has a vast knowledge of the market he will be working in due to his previous experience and I am confident he will significantly increase TMW and Portman’s business levels in the intermediary market of the M5/M6 corridor.

“He will be a great asset to our highly successful team of business development managers.”
