SMS extranet Porthole gets a major overhaul

Solent Mortgage Services is to launch an improved version of its extranet, The Porthole, at the end of this month.

SMS says the website has been redesigned to make it more user friendly, offering better document access and enhanced auditing and control facilities.

The platform’s new three-tier structure means that apart from providing access to brokers, network principals and other authorised departments can view and remotely sign off marketing, products or services, as well as view any activity by the user or appointed representative.

Ian Balfour, sales and marketing director at SMS, says: “The improvements make the Porthole easier to navigate and will be of particular interest to networks wishing to simplify the audit process of their ARs.”
