Fitch Ratings awards Crown with positive rating

Fitch Ratings has given Crown Mortgage Management UK a positive rating in its annual review, with its UK commercial mortgage ratings being the second highest possible.

Crown manages the mortgage outsourcing for companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, HBOS, Interbay and Rooftop.

The Fitch ratings are based on Crowns continued ability to administer commercial and residential mortgage loans, as well as manage the collection and enforcement process for defaulted loans.

Julien Holmes, managing director, Crown, says: We are delighted that Fitch has given us a positive rating.

Its ratings are based on our experience of administering prime and sub-prime residential and small ticket commercial mortgages.

They also reflect the extensive industry experience of senior management, good technology and a sound internal control environment.
