AMPD primed to launch online trading platform

The Alliance of Mortgage Packagers and Distributors is to launch an e-commerce trading platform.

Development is under way and AMPD says it should go live in the early part of Q2 this year.

AMPD says its Trading Hub will provide two-way integration with lenders and enable users to pre-populate a range of mortgage documents. It will also offer online product sourcing.

Eddie Smith, operations director at AMPD, says: “This is not just a mortgage processing system – it will incorporate the key mortgage-related functions needed to trade online. This technology is a must for the future.”
