£33.9bn secured on dwellings in November, says BoE

A whopping £33.9bn was secured on dwellings in November up from £31.7bn in October.

Bank of England statistics shows that 129,000 home purchase loans were approved in November, compared to 128,000 in October.

This equates to £18.3bn up from £17.7bn the previous month.

In addition, 112,000 remortgage loans were approved in November, up from 101,000 in October.

This equates to £13.2bn up from £12bn.

£2.3bn was secured on dwellings for other purposes in November, equating to 79,000 loans and up from £2.2bn in October.
