Ipswich Building Society now lends nationally following a tie-up with SimplyBiz Mortgages.

Previously, its products were only on offer to advisers within counties in or near its East Anglia heartland.

SimplyBiz Mortgages chief executive Martin Reynolds says: “We are thrilled to be the only mortgage club chosen by Ipswich Building Society to offer the widened geographical proposition to our members.

“We continue to work very hard with our members on training and education as well as the compliance support we provide and know that these were some of the key aspects that Ipswich was looking for. Having created a bespoke programme to allow our members to work successfully with Ipswich, I am confident that this will be a very popular range of products.”

Ipswich head of mortgage sales Michelle Stevens says: “The expansion of our distribution is offered only to corporate partners with whom we have developed a good working relationship and who have demonstrated the consistent provision of quality business – we are pleased SimplyBiz Mortgages is one of these partners and look forward to working with their membership over the coming years.”
