Primis and Personal Touch Financial Services have added Guardian Financial Services to their protection panels.
As a result members of these networks will get immediate access to a range of life and critical illness products.
Guardian, which recently launched in the UK, offers a range of flexible products with clear policy wording, designed to make cover easier to understand at the point of sale.
Product features include payouts based on information from medical consultants; policyholders do not have to file detailed medical reports.
The company’s payout planner also allows customers to nominate beneficiaries when they apply. In addition, any cover improvements will be applied to existing as well as new policies.
The announcement follows several recent additions to Primis’ general insurance panel, including The Source and Uinsure.
Primis and PTFS proposition director Vikki Jefferies says: “The addition of Guardian to our protection panel supports our mission to ensure our brokers, and in turn their clients, have access to a diverse range of products.
“The importance of protection products can so be undervalued when in fact it should be the obligation of a broker, and the industry, to ensure customers are equipped with the knowledge to cover themselves adequately and appropriately.”
Guardian Financial Services head of strategic partnerships Mike Devaney says the company only sells its product through advisers, and has designed policies to suit this market.
