Glenhawk hires LendInvest’s Wareham as underwriter

Specialist lender Glenhawk has hired LendInvest’s Amy Wareham as junior underwriter.

Wareham was most recently bridging case manager at LendInvest, and previous roles include client relationship manager at SPF Private Clients and sales support at Coreco Group.

She will be responsible for supporting Glenhawk’s underwriting team, expediting the enquiry to completion process and will be based in London, reporting to director of lending Nick Hilton.

Glenhawk secured a £75m funding line from Shawbrook Bank and Insight Investment and says it has experienced a strong start to 2019.

The lender’s chief executive Guy Harrington says: “Whilst macro uncertainty continues to be a thorn in the side of the real estate sector, we have both a market leading offering and growing addressable market, meaning we are extremely well placed to build on our 2018 successes.

“Amy is another strong addition to the team and will be integral in assisting in the delivery of our customer-centric strategy.”
