Front Events to launch B2L Expo

Property Finance Expo

The organisers of the Financial Services Expo are set to launch a new event for the buy-to-let industry.

Property Finance Expo is aimed at landlords, investors, developers and buy-to-let professionals.

It will be held on 15 September at Old Billingsgate, in London, and is free to attend.

Janes Prosser, a director of Front Events, the firm that runs the FSE, says: “Property Finance Expo has been designed to serve the needs of the professional property investor and for those considering entering the market. Located in the square mile of the city, it will deliver presentations that will help landlords develop their portfolios and provide solutions whilst keeping visitors abreast of this massively developing industry.

“At the show, you’ll be able to buy a property at the live auction, seek advice from advisers equipped to get the best deals for you and meet the companies actually open to fund your purchase – all in one day.”

Property expert Kate Faulkner says: “One of the main reasons buy-to-let can be a successful investment is because you can gear it through mortgage finance. Surprisingly, around 30 per cent of buy-to-let investors don’t take advantage of gearing, potentially limiting their returns at a time when costs of investing in property are going up.

“2016 is a year when new and existing landlords need all the expert help they can get. Top of that list should be understanding the different ways to finance property purchases for the future.”
