Foundation hires Whitear as national sales manager

Specialist lender Foundation Home Loans has expanded its senior sales team with the appointment of Mark Whitear as national sales manager.

Whitear has worked in the mortgage industry for 16 years, including roles at Kensington and Fleet Mortgages, where he fulfilled distribution and account manager positions respectively.

He has worked as both a broker and and for lenders in the buy-to-let and specialist sectors.

At Foundation Home Loans, Whitear will be responsible for managing the team of regional account managers.

Whitear says: “I have thorough experience in business relationship and people management so I am confident I can help the business achieve its objectives.

Foundation commercial director Andrew Ferguson says: “Considering Mark has seen the world of mortgages from both sides of the fence, we are confident the breadth of his experience will support our overall growth strategy for the remainder of 2018 and the year ahead.”
