It’s with great pleasure that we today reveal the first issue of our new monthly print version of Mortgage Strategy.
After 16 years of producing weekly editions of your much-loved magazine, we felt it was time for a change, so we’ve moved to a bigger and better version, landing on your desks once a month.
Lots of new content has been added that we hope you’ll enjoy, such as our Head2Head column, which highlights opposing views on a specific topic. We also wanted to shine a spotlight on the work of small brokers with the addition of Broker Focus, and to provide an insight into the roles of those in the industry who sit more behind the scenes, with new page A Day in the Life.
There is plenty more to educate and entertain you, including Five Things You Should Know: bite-sized pieces of information on one topic.
You can also take a step back in time with 10 Years Ago and reflect on how much the industry has changed in the past decade; suffice to say it’s changed a lot!
Of course, we’ve kept tried-and-trusted favourites such as our various Watch, Comment and Opinion sections, One2One and the ever-popular Mole, who’s had a major facelift and henceforth will be referred to as ‘Sir Mole’!
And, because we don’t do things by halves at Mortgage Strategy, as well as delivering a new and improved print proposition we’ve given our website an overhaul. So hop on there and get a feel for the new look.
While the magazine will be more of a ‘lean back’ read with extra feature content, the website will be the first port of call for daily breaking news, and will feature regular commentary on topical issues.
While we’re at it, we’ve also started the ball rolling for next year’s Mortgage Strategy Awards.
Self-nominations have already closed and, as of tomorrow (13 September), the public vote opens, so start submitting!
