Dudley Building Society appoints head of commercial

Dudley Building Society has announced the appointment of Samantha Ward (pictured) as head of commercial.

As well as taking responsibility for business development, Ward will take on marketing, growth and product strategy duties.

Having joined Dudley in 2001 as a mortgage assistant, Ward subsequently worked as head of savings, strategy and change and most recently head of lending at the society.

Dudley Building Society chief executive Jeremy Wood says: “I am delighted that Sam accepted the appointment. This is a vital role which will help to shape the society’s future lending proposition.”

Ward adds: “My aim is to oversee the development of the business and the relationships with our business partners.”
