David Robinson to leave Accord

David Robinson, the national intermediary sales manager at Accord Mortgages will leave the business later this month.

Robinson has been with the Yorkshire Building Society Group for 29 years. For the past 14 years he has worked for their intermediary arm, Accord Mortgages.

During this time he has increased procuration fees for new business at the lender, introduced a new retention strategy for brokers and enabled direct broker access to underwriters.

Robinson says he was “looking forward to new challenges”.

It has yet to be announced whether he will be taking up another role with a rival lender or broker firm.

Robinson adds that he was proud of the transformation Accord has undertaken in the last three years, which was partly a result of listening to broker feedback.
