Countrywide announces clutch of leadership changes

Countrywide has announced a batch of changes to its senior management team.

The firm has promoted former professional services director Paul Chapman to managing director of its Business to Business division.

He will be responsible for the group’s surveying, conveyancing, asset management and land and new homes businesses.

Paul Creffield will now focus on the commercial side of Countrywide’s business.

 Countrywide chief risk & compliance officer Grant Dempster has been promoted to the firm’s executive team.

He also assumes responsibility for the group’s legal department.

Countrywide has also appointed Paul Bridge to the executive team.

Bridge will take responsibility for IT, procurement and programme management.

The changes come into effect on 1 July 2017.

 Earlier this week Countrywide appointed Himanshu Raja as chief financial officer. Raja will join this month, taking over from Jim C‎larke, who retires in December.

Countrywide chief executive Alison Platt says: “I’m delighted to welcome Paul, Grant and Paul to the executive team.
