Connect teams up with search system Knowledge Bank

Connect for Intermediaries has teamed up with criteria search system Knowledge Bank.

Some 4,000 advisers in the network will be able to access the criteria search system, which launched just last week.

The system lets advisers search lenders’ criteria to help speed up the process of finding the best provider for clients.

Advisers can search more than 18,000 different criteria across 43 lenders with categories including second charge, self-build and equity release products.

Connect for Intermediaries chief executive Liz Syms says using Knowledge Bank’s system could save advisers hours of time in searching for lenders.

She adds: “Technology plays an increasingly vital part for mortgage advisers and we’re working hard to ensure we remain at the cutting edge.”

Knowledge Bank says its process also aids compliance as all search results can be saved or printed and are time and date stamped.

Knowledge Bank chief executive Nicola Firth says: “Connect stands out as a packager and a network that constantly works to put its advisers at the heart of what they do. Knowledge Bank will help give advisers an edge over competitors by freeing up their time to see more clients, potentially increasing their profits and improving their compliance.”
