CFB expands network to the South West

City Finance Brokers has announced that it will extend its network to the South West.

In order to do this, the firm has appointed South West-based Simon Kelly as a mortgage broker.

Kelly has over 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He has previously worked at Andrews Estate Agents and First Action Finance, both previously as a mortgage consultant.

The firm intends to see its size triple in the next three years through its expansion, according to CFB.

City Finance Brokers managing director Mark Horne says: “Kelly’s appointment helps us expand our footprint beyond London, but it also helps bolster the wider team with specialist knowledge in complex mortgages with private banks.

“We have ambitious growth plans for the next three years and are always looking for the best talent in the industry to join us, tap into the experience of the network whilst operating on a self-employed basis.”

Kelly adds: “Many former colleagues have joined City Finance Brokers and I am delighted to be able to bring my experience and expertise to the network now too.

“Whilst I am looking forward to bringing my own client base and new lender contacts to CFB, their ties to London based private banks will help to enhance the work that I do with my existing client base.”
