Brightstar fundraising for Mental Health Awareness Day

Brightstar Financial is looking to raise awareness about dealing with stress for World Mental Health Awareness Day.

The company is raising money for charity Anxiety UK ahead of the awareness day on 10th October.

Brightstar is promoting stress-busting activities with a campaign about stress, its symptoms and how to manage it.

The firm’s on-site therapist will be providing stress-busting treatments such as head and neck massages for donations. The company will also be hosting an indoor picnic to raise money for the charity.

This is not the first time the specialist distributor has spoken out on the importance of mental health. The firm, which also supports charity Mind, wants employees to talk about stress openly in the workplace.

Mental Health Awareness day was first celebrated in 1992. It is estimated that one in four adults, and one in ten children, will have problems each year.

The investment clock

While Trump blazes blond in the political foreground, it’s easy to overlook the economic background to the new political dimension of 2017.
