Paradigm chief executive Bob Hunt has joined Dashly as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Having also invested an undisclosed amount of money into the company, Hunt describes the mortgage switching platform, which alerts customers as soon as taking out another mortgage becomes financially beneficial, as an “SVR killer, but one that causes no collateral damage to the rest of the industry.”
Hunt adds: “Dashly… is rethinking the entire mortgage industry and its vision is one I immediately bought into. [It] does something totally unique in that it puts the consumer first, embeds the broker in their clients’ financial lives and at the same time empowers lenders by enabling them to target the exact borrowers they want.”
Meanwhile, Dashly founder Ross Boyd is keen to point out that, while technological progress in big data, open banking and robo-advice all aim to tilt power towards the customer, Dashly works for both the lender and broker.
Of his company’s latest appointment, Boyd comments: “To have someone as respected in the mortgage industry as Bob Hunt join the team and back Dashly is a major boost for everyone here and confirms that we are on the right track.”
