BLG recruits former NatWest relationship director

Specialist development finance lender Business Lending Group has appointed former NatWest relationship director Tracey Abbott (pictured) to the role of regional director for the south west of England.

Abbott brings the number of BLG regional directors in the area to two, with David Edwards having taken up the role in 2015.

Abbott worked for over two decades with the NatWest/RBS Group, the last 12 years focussing on property finance. She will report into chairman Peter Wade at BLG.

Wade says: “Over the last few years, BLG has seen demand for development finance in the south west of England increase significantly. Dave Edwards has done a sterling job managing our existing developer and broker relationships, so that we now fund many property schemes in this busy region. With Tracey on-board, we are now able to increase the number of developers we can support across the south west.”
