Aldermore takes axe to high-LTV rates

Aldermore has cut rates on its high-LTV house purchase products by up to 0.50 per cent.

For purchase loans up to 95 per cent LTV, the lender’s two-year fixed rates start from 4.98 per cent with a £999 product fee.

A two-year fixed rate with no fee starts from 5.18 per cent.

A five-year fixed rate starts at 5.08 per cent.

Aldermore has also introduced a new five-year fixed rate mortgage at 5.28 per cent.

This has no product fee and is available for purchase applications up to 95 per cent LTV.

Aldermore’s remortgage-only products up to 85 per cent now have no upfront fees.

The lender has also removed its remortgage application fee.

Aldermore commercial director Charles McDowell says: “These latest changes will support those with smaller deposits looking to reach the first step on the housing ladder.”
