Mortgage Mole: Action replay

Intrepid Mole, digging up the stories behind the news

Action replay

At a recent football match between Complete FS and Shawbrook, Mole was mightily relieved not to be on the receiving end of Complete FS director Phil Jay’s pitch-side antics.
Jay (far right) made the most of the occasion to re-enact Vinnie Jones’ infamous 1988 ball-grab of Paul Gascoigne, but his unlucky victim was Nick Roberts from Bluechip (playing for Shawbrook). Ouch.

The match was held at Southampton FC’s St Mary’s stadium and resulted in an 8-4 win for Complete FS.

More than 30 players took part, including staff from both firms, family members and friends, plus local broker and sourcing system firm Twenty7Tec.
