Yorkshire Bank offers fees-free remortgage deal

Natalie Holt
Yorkshire Bank has launched a fees-free remortgage deal meaning savings for borrowers of up to £999.

The lender is waiving arrangement fees on a range of its fixed, offset, and flexible payment mortgages.

Legal and valuation fees will also be waived where borrowers remortgaging from another lender have a mortgage of over £30,000 and they use Yorkshire Bank’s appointed solicitors.

The offer is available until February 13 2009.

Yorkshire Bank is also offering a separate two-year fixed rate product at 3.99%, although this is not included in the fees-free deal.

Gary Lumby, head of retail for Yorkshire Bank, says: “Fewer home owners are moving but many are looking to remortgage to ensure they are benefiting from the best mortgage.

“Our latest fees-free mortgage underlines our commitment to supporting our customers and we will work with them to find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs.”
