It’s nice to be recognised for your achievements but for one law firm the wait was somewhat on the long side. Scottish outfit Ceasar & Howie, which recently joined the Equity Release Solicitors’ Alliance, was established in 1792 yet took the accolade of ‘Up and coming firm of the year’ at the recent Law Awards of Scotland.

Apparently the firm has started working on some new projects. But Mole still thinks giving one of Scotland’s oldest companies a newcomer’s award is a bit daft.
