Phoebus appoints new director of sales

Phoebus Software has appointed Richard Pike as director of sales.
He will be responsible for business development, new sales and developing existing client relationships, and will report to managing director Paul Hunt.
Pike has worked in various roles at Cheltenham & Gloucester, HML and Royal Bank of Scotland and most recently as managing director at Independent Business Consultants.
Hunt says: “Richard is a perfect hire for us. He has extensive experience in the market place, a strong knowledge base and a great network of contacts that will help push our sales forward.”
Pike adds: “Not only are the IT experts and consultants at Phoebus hugely experienced, this is also one of the only software providers that is prepared to put its money where its mouth is when it comes to research and development.
“Phoebus spends more than 25% of its turnover on R&D every year, and it’s that commitment to excellence that attracted me to the business.”
