Mortgage lead firm Lead Magpie launches
A new website Lead Magpie has launched, offering mortgage leads to brokers.
Stuart Cam, managing director o Lead Magpie, says: “Lead Magpie represents 12 months of working with IFAs to create a compelling new service. We’ve addressed the common complaints with existing solutions and raised the bar in terms of flexibility and fair pricing.”
Lead Magpie operates by entering leads into an eBay-style auction where the highest bidder wins the lead. Leads are automatically checked for invalid data and delivered to brokers within seconds, via e-mail or text message. Lead Magpie says all leads are exclusive and have given their true express consent to be contacted.
Customers can create targeted campaigns to specify the leads they’re interested in. They set a maximum bid, but only pay the minimum price necessary to win a lead auction.

Forgive me for being negative but isn't this the exact same model that Leadbay offered with their launch?
It'll be interesting to see how productive their leads can be.

Definitely some similarities. Their pricing model seems different though, and there seem to offer much more flexibility in the selection of leads. Quite courageous to launch such a business in the current climate. I wish them good luck.
