MBE 2011: Mortgage Brain to launch 'find a broker' app

Mortgage Brain is to launch a mobile app with a ’find a broker’ feature.
Mark Lofthouse, chief executive officer of Mortgage Brain, announced at the Mortgage Business Expo in London today that his firm will be launching the app for iPhones, android devices and iPads in Q1 2012.
Brokers who use Mortgage Brain’s sourcing system will be able to feature on the app, which also allows consumers to compare mortgages, free of charge.
Lofthouse told delegates: “Absolutely nobody is putting mortgages in a professional way on mobile devices at the moment. That is why we have decided to go for it and launch something new.
“This is the sort of thing we believe will really take the market by storm. We recognise that brokers cannot always afford to develop this type of technology themselves, so we want to work collectively with them to communicate with the next generation of borrowers.”
