Abbey allows brokers to upload mortgage documents
Brokers will now be able to upload and submit case information to Abbey for Intermediaries via its Mortgage Application Tracking System.
The new functionality, which launches tomorrow, will allow intermediaries to upload and submit supporting case documents as well as to advise on changes to applications. The uploaded documents will be linked to the case on AFI’s processing system and actioned in line with the lender’s current processing times.
Broker administrators will also be able to submit documentation and selected case information and the new functionality will show notification of any uploaded documents in the case history.
Miguel Sard, managing director at Abbey for Intermediaries, says: “We want to make it as easy as possible for intermediaries to do business with us and we have launched this new functionality in direct response to feedback from the market.
“Being able to upload and submit case information to us will make life much easier for intermediaries, and provide them with the peace of mind that their client’s information has been sent securely and received.”

..more lenders must move to this more efficient processing. I recently did a case with Nationwide that allowed uploading of all docs - very impressive and efficient!
Well done Abbey - it will speed up the process.
