Lloyds’ surveying head Paul Chapman joins Countrywide

Paul Chapman, head of surveying and valuation at Colleys, is joining Countrywide in the newly created board position of head of field operations within its surveying division.
He will start his new role in December, which includes overall responsibility for the operational efficiency of the group’s surveying workforce as well as assisting with the development of new products and services for Countrywide.
Paul Creffield, corporate operations director at Countrywide, says: “Paul brings a wealth of experience to this new role after more than 15 years in the property industry and will be using his expertise to strengthen our frontline business.”
Throughout Chapman’s career at HBOS and subsequently Lloyds group, he has held various senior management roles and contributed to many parts of the Lloyds group’s businesses including business development, mortgage regulation, retail executive, and more recently, commercial development in surveying and valuation services.
Chapman adds: “With my lender background, I have had the experience of working alongside many companies in the sector and I have always respected Countrywide for being innovative, dynamic, and forward-thinking.”
