State Bank of India joins CML

The State Bank of India has joined the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

The lender revealed earlier this week that it is looking to launch a range of residential mortgages in August, after it launched into the buy-to-let market last year.

The bank operates in 32 countries around the world and is the 50th largest bank globally.

Yorkshire Building Society and OneSavings Bank, which operates as Kent Reliance, have also joined the CML as members and Connells Limited as an associate member.
