Spicerhaart launches residential valuation firm

Spicerhaart Group last week launched a residential property valuation firm called Valunation.
Valunation will use multiple automated valuation models from UKValuation and Calnea Analytics to provide lenders, packagers and brokers with enhanced confidence ratings on valuations. It will also provide panel management, physical valuations and risk assessments.
The venture will also see Valunation drawing on the knowledge and experience of Wolton Chartered Surveyors, which is also part of Spicerhaart Group.
Jon Steward, managing director of Valunation, says: "Valunation will combine technology and surveyors to provide a unique solution, on time and to budget."
Mark Witherspoon, chief executive of UKValuation, says: "This is a combination of the best elements of AVMs, such as speed, and the judgement of human surveyors."
