Spicerhaart financial division joins Sesame

Spicerhaart is spreading its wings beyond estate agency by linking its financial services division with network giant Sesame.
Spicerhaart Financial Services joined Sesame last week to become one of the network’s biggest appointed representatives.
Brokers who worked in the property group’s estate agency mortgage advice network under the Mortgages Direct banner will now come under the Spicerhaart Financial Services umbrella and be ARs of Sesame.
But Alison Beech, business relationships director at Spicerhaart, says that because Mortgages Direct is such an iconic brand it will be used to develop the company’s proposition beyond the reach of its estate agency networks.
Last week Sesame finalised its merger with Bankhall to become one of the UK’s largest financial services distributors.
Beech says: “With the regulatory changes we face we felt it was time to gain the strength and support that comes from being part of the UK’s largest adviser network.”
Stephen Young, chief operating officer at Sesame Bankhall Group, says: “We are delighted to consolidate our already close business relationship and welcome Spicerhaart Financial Services into the Sesame network.”
