Finally, Mole would like to offer hearty congratulations to Mortgage Strategy features editor Christine Toner and Abbey PR guru David Stewart who hosted an all-day charity gig yesterday in aid of the Poppy Appeal and Help for Heroes.
The Remembrance Day event at the Old Blue Last pub in London’s Shoreditch featured 10 terrific bands playing for a great cause.
Help for Heroes assists wounded servicemen and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq, while the 2009 Poppy Appeal also emphasises the need to help the present generation of service personnel and their families.
