And on the subject of horror, there were some spooky goings on in the Mortgage Strategy offices last week.
Online editor Natalie Martin’s computer seemed to be possessed by an evil spirit as, without so much as touching her keyboard, the screen began to fill up with the ominous number 666.
“Given that this is the number of the devil I was unnerved to say the least,” a shaken Martin told Mole.
Mole wonders if it was indeed the devil taking control of Martin’s Mac or whether it could have been the Ghost of Finance Past making an appearance in Scrooge-like fashion, with the festive season almost upon us.
If so, let’s hope the Ghost of Finance Yet-To-Come will also show up and shed some light on what we can expect next year.
