ASA raps SpicerHaart again

The Advertising Standards Authority has rapped the SpicerHaart Group, trading as Haart Estate Agent for using personal information inappropriately for marketing purposes.

The estate agency firm has had several of its advertisements banned this year and in 2009 for being misleading.

The ASA has not released the specifics of the case but says it has taken action over how the firm obtains, processes and uses personal information for the purposes of marketing products and services to the public.

Five Spicerhaart adverts have already been banned for being misleading, three this year and two in 2009.
