RBS IP launches new deals

Royal Bank of Scotland Intermediary Partners has introduced three new mortgage deals including a two-year tracker at 2.69%.

The tracker, at Bank of England base rate plus 2.19%, is available at up to 60% LTV with a £999 arrangement fee.

It is available through Connells, Sesame, Pink Home Loans, Personal Touch Financial Services, Legal & General, Openwork and Your Move.

There is also a three-year fixed rate deal at 6.59% at 90% LTV with a £999 arrangement fee, again available through the same distributors.

RBS IP has also launched a two-year fixed rate deal for shared equity purchases at 4.99%, a maximum 70% LTV and a £199 arrangement fee.

For remortgages  First Active has a three-year fixed rate deal at 4.89% available up to 75% LTV with a £799 arrangement fee

Graham Felstead, director of intermediary mortgages at RBS, says: “The shared equity market continues to be an important one for the industry and we are keen to support brokers who have clients using these schemes to buy their first home.

“We will also carry on from 2009 in our commitment to support our corporate partners with an attractive portfolio of products and excellent standards of service.

“The two exclusive products have been launched in response to dialogue we have held with our corporate partners and have been developed to cater for the first-time buyer market and those clients with larger deposits.”  

There have also been some rate changes, including a two-year fixed rate deal at 3.69%, up to 70% LTV with a £999 arrangement fee.

The two-year tracker deal has gone from 4.79% to 5.49%, Bank base rate plus 4.99% at 90% LTV with a £999 arrangement fee.
