PruProtect launches Essentials plan

PruProtect has launched its new online-only Essentials plan which includes life cover only and life with serious illness cover.
The Essentials product will be available to all UK intermediaries and includes the option to upgrade to the firm’s existing PruProtect Plan. Some features have been removed on the Essential plans to make the premium more affordable including automatic children’s cover, guaranteed insurability options and immediate cover.
